The Hyundai Kona has a much different look compared to the XC40 or any other SUV on the market right now. It's angular and modern, with huge masses of glass rising up above the chassis. A black honeycomb pattern covers portions of the grille where it meets those intakes, while chrome trim adds visual interest further down on either side of that area (as well as along various parts around back).

The interior of the 2022 Volvo XC40 is a little bit more sophisticated and a little bit nicer than the 2022 Hyundai Kona. It's got better materials, and it's not as cheap-feeling as the Kona.
